Elevator Pitch

Created in 2010 as a spinoff of the CEA (France), Ethera has launched a range of products for the analysis of Indoor Air Pollutants and their capture in purification systems.
Based on patented nanotechnologies, the performances of these products are extremely competitive.

Integrating these diagnostic sensors, systems are able to control smart building ventilation systems and maintain appropriate level of pollutant, without wasting energy.

Indoor swimming pool's instruments are now declined for fully automated pool ventilation systems.

New applications are under development using nanoporous material properties : Water treatment plant, fresh food, medical...

Product

Ethera is developing high performances purification and measurement solutions for Air Pollutant, and its first product, already available on the market, is dedicated to Formaldehyde (HCHO), the Indoor Air Pollutant reference.
For this pollutant,
· most of analyzers with require lab analysis after sampling period, where Ethera’s Profil’Air range provides immediate optical reading, with an impressive accuracy and specificity.
· most purification solutions are desorbing the pollutant, forbidding the recirculation of treated air (the most common systems), where Ethera’s Puretech has a definitive trapping capacity.

NEMo (New Environment Monitoring) is an Indoor Air Quality station able to monitor multiple Air Quality parameters: HCHO, CO2, light VOCs, P, T°, RH. Where usual methods provide average/cumulated data, especially for HCHO, a continuous monitoring allow the evaluation of realtime exposure of the building occupants, making possible the evaluation of the good practices efficiency: ventilation/purification system, aeration, cleaning procedures (product & timing)… This IAQ station has been designed as a diagnosis tool, to be used very simply and very friendly, making possible a use by non-expert professional, thus increasing the number of potential users. This use will be extended to permanent monitoring application in buildings and homes.

Saving energy within buildings is a major impact. But Saving energy without degrading air quality within buildings is another challenge.
Ethera provides reliable solutions to purify indoor air, but also to monitor indoor air quality, allowing a customized appropriate control of building (and pool) ventilation systems, optimizing heat/cold exchanges with the outdoor.
