Eturnity

Early Stage Startup

Tagline

Eturnity unleashes your Solar Autonomy Potential at home.

Elevator Pitch

Rooftop Solar Power has become the cheapest form of electricity available to the household today, if it is done right. Because of the intermittent nature of solar irradiation, and the unique consumption profile of each building, it is a real challenge to design the optimal solar power system and battery storage for a specific home. Eturnity has developed an automated system which analyses your home's electricity consumption patterns, and suggests the optimal solar power system to maximise your energy and financial savings. Our technology greatly improves the financial feasibility of solar power, thereby unlocking an entire new segment of the market, and relying far less on renewable subsidies.

Product

Our product consists of a hardware data processing unit, the Eturnity Hub and a cloud application. The Eturnity Hub is installed at the local building and closely monitors the consumption load profile of the building. This data is processed on our cloud application, where the solar power system installer can determine the optimal system to be installed. The homeowner or building operator can use the same portal to simulate his or her financial savings precisely: This simulation is based on locally meteo data, and provides an accuracy unparalleled in the solar power industry today.

Why we are ecofriendly

For the first time, homeowners and building operators can determine precisely what the energy and financial savings will be from consuming their own rooftop solar power before the actual installation and adapt the solar power system design accordingly. Because of this information beforehand, we have been able to double the financial returns on our customers by optimising the system layout before installation. This will greatly help the industry become less independent on feed-in subsidies, since most of the power will be used locally at home, rather than sold to the grid.
Ultimately, by improving the financial feasibility of solar power, we are contributing to a significant increase in solar power adoption, but in a responsible and sustainable way: solar power capacity is tailored to meet real local demand, in contrast to blindly building systems for subsidy revenue, resulting in grid overload and other systematic problems.
