Since sustainability has become a major trend, the number of various sustainability labels and certificates is constantly increasing. Until now, everyone searching for information on the sustainability performance of a company, brand or product had to research among multiple webpages for a holistic picture- if the information was even traceable. A sustainable and conscious consumption involved significant time and cost expenses. However, in order to ensure a wide sustainable everyday consumption, the sustainability characteristics need to be clearly, fast and reliably recognisable.

This is where WeGreen comes into play: the Sustainability Footprint enables a quick and simple visualisation of all available data on the ecological, social and transparency performance of an entity - Green equals good, amber equals average and red equals a bad performance.

Thereby, WeGreen guides consumers through the jungle of companies, brands and products, cleans up the label – mess and makes sustainability suitable for everyday life.

Product


WeGreen is the first comprehensive search engine for sustainability and opens the door to the entire green world on the Internet. The centerpiece is the Sustainability Footprint, which enables a quick and simple visualisation of the ecological, social and transparency performance of a company, brand or product - for products with an amber or red Sustainability Footprint, we provide green alternatives.

Whether shopping, job search, green places, green websites, news or discussions, really anything related to sustainability- WeGreen has it. On top of that, users can rate the sustainability performance of companies themselves, interact with companies and other users and participate actively in the improvement of sustainability policies.

To be able to profit from WeGreen, no hardcore ecological or idealistic background is necessary: we want to convince each and every internet user- without any lecturing- that sustainability is easily integrated into our everyday lives and that the majority of questionable products indeed have green alternatives in the same price range to them.

Our societal mission is to create more sustainability through transparency and dialogue.

According to this, WeGreen enables a sustainable everyday consumption, promotes the education for a sustainable development of a broad public and puts pressure on non-sustainable operating companies.
